America was surely robbed when the judges didn’t let young William Hung pass through to Hollywood on this season’s American Idol. There’s no doubt that William had the most intestinal fortitude of any of the contestants, willfully giving up his ever having a chance for a date in his life by coming on national television and belting out a Ricky Martin song like it had never been done before. His cries of “She bang! She bang!” will forever ring in my head and I can honestly say that if William Hung were to release a CD, it would be the first CD by an American Idol contestant that I’d buy. Who cares if he has no professional training of singing, he’s the real deal.
Thankfully, I’m not the only one that feels this way.
