A few nights ago, a commercial for Pine-Sol came on and advertised its ability to somehow separate out floor gunk from water. Thus, when you’re mopping, you don’t get the mop dirty once again when dipping for more soapy water. I thought it was brilliant, but also a little scary.
Then two days later, I noticed that we had this exact type of Pine-Sol. Oops.
The verdict? It does what it says. All of the gunk was indeed on the bottom of the bucket, and I got to use clean, soapy water the entire time. I don’t know if I want to know how they do it, but it’s rather nice that they have.
