Every so often, a song lyric pops into my head – instantly – that makes me wonder, “What the hell was the songwriter thinking?” And that just so happened for me.
The song was by Live, called “Century”. The amazing, Lennon-McCartney inspired couplet was: “Everybody’s here/ this puke stinks like beer”. Oh, but the song gets better! We also get “You stole my idea/ you stole my idea/ this puke stinks like beer”.
What the hell?
