A few months ago Jeani and I were flipping through channels and landed on Headline News. There, we saw the most tasteless Iraq-related headline yet: “The Brawl for it All”. Yes, a brawl… that’s it….
It’s not surprising, then, that this week the head of Headline News announced that he wanted his network’s headline writers to use more slang. To connect with the kids, you see, who he wants to watch his network. I found this Washington Post (not Times) article spot-on. Yo.
